New Hobby

My sweet, thoughtful, and sneaky husband surprised me with a new camera for my birthday! He did an overwhelming amount of research and settled on the Canon T1i. The picture quality is pretty amazing and I don't even know how to use it yet! I can't wait to see what I'll be able to do with it once I have done my homework. We celebrated a bit early this past weekend and Jon surprised me with the camera then. My reaction was pretty priceless.

One major reason for the gift is that we'll be able to use it on our trip. I am so excited to blog about our journey and now I'm even more excited because I'll be able to capture amazing pics with my new toy. I'm slowly learning how to use the darn thing, so hopefully once I make it through the manual, I'll be shooting like a pro.
