Weddings

You all know I love weddings! I talk about mine all the time, love helping friends with theirs, and often mention how my dream job would be to work as a wedding coordinator/family therapist. I seriously think I have a novel business idea, but that is not the subject of my post.

Today I want to talk about all the fun things that come along with weddings. When I was planning our wedding, I loved browsing Etsy for fun wedding-related things. Things varying from items for my bridesmaids or myself to wear, to fun things to decorate with at the reception. I thought to myself the other day I really miss Etsy... I also thought, why am I not shopping on Etsy anymore just because I'm no longer in the wedding world.

So, I took a stroll down memory lane, and of course, I found something that I "needed" to have (Jon loves it when I say I "need" something). My newest Etsy purchase is a framed chalk board. I thought that these were so cute and creative. I love not having "normal" things all over our home, and finding things that are a little off the beaten pottery barn path.

I haven't written on it yet because I don't have any chalk :)

I decided to hang the chalkboard in the kitchen and I plan to write fun notes to Jon on it. I know, I'm such a loser. Perhaps it will even be useful at times. I can say, please get milk, or don't forget to call your mom. Anyways, that's all for now.
